Salam alaikoum
It’s like you mentioned- it’s in the sunnah, it’s legal…it should be okay. In fact in my family we have two cousin marriages. In principle, I am ok with one of my kids marrying a cousin, as long as it was a love marriage thing, and as long as it the cousin isn’t one of the children of the two marriages where they “doubled-up”. I do want the family tree to fork and I refuse to be the only chlorine in the gene pool. But hey.
