  1. >>How many people are on the brink of depression from this daily bombardment of bad news?

My hand is pretty high in the air, “Meeeee!”

  2. Me too.

  3. I ain’t depressed but I’m mutha%^&$ing pissed and I ain’t gonna take no %^#& %&## no Mutha%$&ing more!!

  4. Thanks for links to the articles. Amid all the negativity, I was glad to read the articles you posted, especially the women who converted to Islam after losing family members in 9/11.

  5. I am just wondering if we will suffer the token abuse and ‘revenge’ attacks and so on like we have for the last few years. I am hoping no Masjids get bricked this year, nor hijabi’s assaulted. I also feel caught between feeling the anguish and anger at what happened on that day, and the anguish of knowing 62,000+ people have died since then, as well as countless injured, property and buildings destroyed and so on. Ya Rabb! :(

  6. Dang Tariq, that buy out option is drastic. but heck it might just work

I think it would work too. Perhaps you could elaborate further. For those that have not read it yet, check it out here

  8. 9/11: the anniversary and the conspiracy theories

This week is the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, if anyone hasn’t been listening to the news or watching the calendar. It’s fair to say that the day was a watershed; it has been said that the sixties…

Define normal. How is your life totally different?

Muslim organizations even supported Bush in the 2000 elections.
Boy, wasn’t that a good idea. Shall we examine the reason why? ‘Cuz most Muslims wouldn’t vote for a Jew!! And now look where their foolish has gotten them…

We went from little to no major news to so many people being killed on a daily basis that it is not even

  10. And now look where their foolish has gotten them

  11. Marqas:

When I say ‘normal’, I wasn’t talking about me personally per se. Days without Security levels, terror warnings, and when one could meet their family at the airplane docking point instead of at the front of the airport. I do feel fatigue from the daily carnage. Others (Muslim and non-Muslim) just would rather not watch the news and keep up with their favorite sports team instead.

Anti-Muslim zealot bloggers who never otherwise would have been known are now prominent. Ann Coulter was an obscure “in your face” pundit. ow she makes lots of money saying things like “all Arabs stink”.

So many have been jailed here in America, people who otherwise would have been obscure are prominent

I agree on the newsworthiness of non-Arab causes even amongst Muslims is not much
