  1. Good point, however, I also would put a lot of it at the idea becoming more and more popular in the US that there really is no need for marriage, no matter who you would marry.

    In 50 years in the USA I think marriage will almost be a forgotten item. Religion, the bastion of those who promote marriage, dont even look on the institution the same anymore. With the exception of very strict Christians, it is not uncommon to find many members of churches openly living with their partners, having children with partners, ect.

    I read a study the other day that found that divorce is conservative Christian communities is often higher than in their secular counterparts. I found that one interesting.

    This is a very bad trend, as we see the impact this type of environment has on children.
