I have a tiny bit of a problem and I came across this website hoping for someone to help me out. I need to know, if there are any homeless shelters for muslim women in CT. Also tell me if one has to leave the house later at night, lets say 3 a.m. would a person be able to enter in a shelter house? Or are there any certain hours that a person is welcome at the shelter, lets say, no latet than 9 p.m. I would really appreciate any help that you can give me. Again thank you for taking your time to read this mail, I would be looking forward to read your response. Peace be with you.
As-salaam alaikum,
My name is Jamillah…I and my Umi recently because a member of the woodbridge community(masha’allah) and is need of funds for our rent or we will be evicted by our court hearing(01/09/2009). This is the first time we have been late and I am out of work because my job laid-off and I am not eligible for unemployment until July. I have several leads insha’Allah for a job and is interviewing. Two companies vowed that they would have me a job starting after the american holidays. So, insha’Allah we (I and my Umi) will have the substances on going. But, at this moment without the remainer of the rent for December we do not stand a chance in keeping a roof over our head. We do not have no where to go if we are evicted. The plan of Allah is what we are leaning on and patience and belief that Allah will provide for us. If there is anything you can do to help or assist, we would gladly appreciate it…Allah Kareem..Allah Akbar!
P.S. I am in need of a job as well insha’Allah.
If you know of any Sisters or Brothers that are
Hiring please advise, Insha’Allah.
Shukran Jaza’Allah Al-Khairun,
Jamillah
