FAQ

Some frequently asked questions that I receive either in email or in the comments…

- What is your religion?

I am a Muslim

- You seem pretty reasonable to be a Muslim/Are you still Muslim?

Yes I am still Muslim, and I find it sad that I receive this question because I reject terrorism as being a part of Islam, do not hate Jews, and reject wild conspiracies. The message is that if you reject the wild violent fringe, then you must be close to leaving Islam

- Why are you so anti-black?

I am not anti-black. But I don’t feel that talking about problems in the black community makes one anti-black

- Why are you so pro-black?/ Are you a black nationalist?

I am not a black nationalist nor am I “pro-black” (to the exclusion of others). But I don’t feel that talking about problems in the black community makes one pro-black

- I don’t believe in group blame and I don’t think that Muslims have to renounce crimes in the name of Islam. Why do you buy into it?

I don’t believe in group blame either. However, when a group of maniacs are speaking for me, I feel that I have to distance myself from him. There is a big difference. If someone from my family committed a crime and announced that he/she did it in the name of the family, I would denounce them and tell everyone that the criminal is insane and we do not approve of his/her actions.

Likewise, these maniacs in their videos are claiming to speak for Islam when they slaughter people. They kill children in Beslan and say this is “Islamic”. They rape in Algeria and call it “Islamic”. They slaughter women and children in Israel and call it “Islamic”. They blow up weddings and call it “Islamic”. They cut off the heads of little girls and call it “Islamic”. Someone must stand up and say no it is not Islamic. There is a big difference between that and random crimes done by Muslims.

- Why do you hate Palestinians?

I do not hate Palestinians. (Nor do I hate Iraqis, Chechens or any other people) I do not however believe that Palestinians are above morality because of their situation. I do not believe that Hamas, “Islamic” Jihad and any other groups should get a pass for slaughter in the name of Islam because they are Palestinian. This logic is extended and used by corrupt Palestinians in this country that engage in illegal and un-Islamic activities in predominantly minority neighborhoods. “We can do it because of the situation in Filistine. We use the money to send home”

Sorry, but I don’t buy into that…

- Don’t you know that 9/11 and all the terror attacks around the world are executed by the Jews to make the “mujahideen” look bad?

I am disappointed that some still believe in these dumb conspiracy theories. I can understand being in denial in the beginning. It was hard to believe that a Muslim could do such a thing. But after hundreds of praises for these attacks how can one still be in denial?

- Hey deviant, why are you calling for mixing with the kufaar? The ulamaa have not called us to “civic responsibility”

I am constantly amazed at barrage of variations I get of this one from isolationists that are staunchly opposed to civic responsibility. Do I need a specific order from someone else to tell me that it is permissible to improve my neighborhood, participate in the civic functions and other such things?

- I am met my wife and married her 2 days later. It is ten years later and we are still happy, so stranger marriage does work!

Good for you. For every story like this I hear, I have probably heard a hundred stranger marriage train wrecks. One good case does not make it the panacea for everyone. There is nothing wrong with knowing a little something about the person you marry.

- If Blackamerican Muslims are happy in this world of make believe, then why do you see it as necessary to bring them out of it? Do you not see it as cruel and making them feel hopeless?

I don’t think that living in a world of make-believe is going to help in the long run. Indeed, many when they find out they have been living in one, fall into deep depression and disappear. Living in a fantasy world helps no one and has been especially damaging to an entire generation of children who are not prepared to compete in the real world. They have only been offered platitudes and slogans as life solutions. Pretending that everything is rosy will only impede progress

- Why don’t you attack the Islamophobes?

I do when there is a need. Being that their main claim is that Islam is inherently violent, approves of terror and the sadistic beasts represent “real” Muslims. I feel that by defending Islam from the actions of these beasts robs them of this claim. It makes no sense for us to deny that they beasts exist, so we must clean house. This will automatically discredit the anti-Muslim bigots.

Further, I feel that some of them are so openly racist that only discredit themselves with their racist slurs, insults and weird claims (one particularly vicious racist even claims to have found WMD in Iraq). From time to time, I get vicious anti-black emails from some of them (something I ironically also get from the pro-terror maniacs)

- I am the son of the late General Sani Abacha and I have a secret $200 Billion in Swiss Bank Accounts that only you can help me retrieve. Can you help me?

Send me $1 million up front and I will help
