I remembered when “daddy dearest” walked out on us, how much my mother struggled with me and my sibs. It was hard on all of us, but I’, always reminded that there are people that has it much harder whether in the States or in a third world country.
Giving back is good thing, whether, it s volunteer work or money donations is good. Somebody like the people mentioned in the blog needs it. I’ve given money to people like Goodwill my donations and have volunteered( I wanted to volunteer for this year, but school has dashed those hopes) my time in many projects that are relative to my life. For me, it just not about my just giving or getting some recognition( which has never been my motivation in doing it.) I enjoy it and on top it, this all reminds me not to forget where I came from.
