One Response to “Smart Drugs”

  1. Any time pharmaceutical companies declare their products as safe, it end up being poison to the consumers souls. Look at some of these commercials over these new miracle drugs having very toxic side effects. Notice how many TV lawyers are eager to offer their services to their viewing audience because of their resulting disabilities and death.

I don’t like the idea at all .Students may see this as a cure to their problems. At the end, it will further screw them in some way whether it be physical or mental. Pharmaceutical companies may tell us about part of the problem, but at the end, their consumers end finding out other unfortunate unknown problems like with the drug Phen-Phen. They will never be totally honest with their consumers about it. With Ritalin, it is advised that if a person has an underlying health problem for them not to take it as it may cause them to have heart problems or make them have suicidal tendencies. Those should be hints of what these drugs may do to them.

Real “smarts” start with with determination, hard work , study and whole lot of common sense. What would happen if the students had it together one day and they are not able to have it the next time? The drugs will give them a false sense of intelligence.
