A sweeping survey of African-Americans reveals a widespread distrust of financial institutions, a shrinking digital divide, and significant optimism about the future. Cathy Hughes, founder of Radio One, which sponsored the study, and Bruce Connor of Yankelovich, the group responsible for the poll, explain the findings’ significance.
