I must admit that Barack Obama gave a pretty good speech last night and I felt that the entire lead up presentation was well done. Over the past few weeks, he seemed to be stumbling, but he responded very well (even responded to the egotism charges so strongly that I think he may have put [...]

Biden is everything I expected. Boring and uninspiring. Michelle Obama’s, Kerry’s and both Clinton speeches were much better.
Sorry, but I am not moved. Meanwhile a bunch of left wing maniacs trying to levitate the National Mint (??) in Denver harassed and shouted “Kill Michelle Malkin” at Michelle Malkin in Denver. I don’t always agree with [...]

Obama has qualities to admire (good father, hard worker, has a solid family unit) and it is good - in light of the problems in our community - for people of all races to see such a positive image. However, politically he is an empty suit and his egotism is now being used against him [...]

In my life - in many cases - I have expected too much from those I thought were friends. About 13 years ago, I met a man named Uthman. For a few years we used to talk and do activities together. In my mind, we were friends. However, I would find out later that [...]

The Wall Street Journal joins the growing debate on what is “African-American”
Interestingly, in a poll by the Pew Research Center 1007 African-Americans if blacks should be thought of as a single race…37% of respondents said no. I tend to agree with that and I expect for that number to grow
Barack Obama’s rise is driving a [...]

All of this buildup and we get Joe Biden? I am not impressed. Obama is not running a very good campaign. In fact, during the primaries I was afraid that he would run out of gas like this.
John McCain has already put out an attack ad (below the fold)

UPDATE 2: He actually chose Biden. What a let down
UPDATE: Looks like he chose Evan Bayh…yawn…some people have spotted bumper stickers
Over the past couple of weeks, Obama has tried to turn his VP speculation into a sort of reality show. It is getting a little old. But with all of this build up, it will [...]

Racism in Iraq??? Against blacks? Is the Middle East ready for the type of social introspection that has happened here in the West?
(via Stereohyped)
Abdul Hussein Abdul Razzaq laughs wearily when asked if racism is a problem in Iraq. As a black Iraqi, Razzaq says, he faces job and social discrimination and has little chance of [...]

My little brother’s elementary school would give so much daily homework that it would take until almost bedtime to finish. Many times beyond that. But now here is a study that suggests that they reverse course as it is of little to no benefit to average students. Does that mean that you stop challenging them? [...]
