  1. I’m laughing just as hard as that guy in the mock laugh about Sarah Palin. God! if they were going to lie about their campaign at least they should know how to do it.

I looked at the interview that Charlie Gibson conducted. Again, I laughed. How can Sarah say that she is ready to lead a country when she was clueless to Bush’s doctrine? In general, I just found her interview to be so-so because her answers to the question seemed too general and they weren’t exact.

Sarah is sooo sure that her and McCain are going to be running the Whitehouse, but I read an newstory in ABC news where there are some women in her state that support Walter Mongehan( the guy in the ” Trooper gate”who claimed that he was unjustly fired by Sarah Palin because he would fire her brother in law) and not her because they feel that she undermines public safety and that she cares less about women’s issues. They feel that the Walter was a better advocte of it than she.

There has been a lot of smear tactics used among candidates. Not all of them were true, not all of them was false, but we barely had no idea of this. I would like to know who helps John Mccain/Sarah Palin with their smear campaigns because who ever they are , they don’t know how to play the game. Their Tactics are terrible.

  2. @ Peaches

unfortunately, this is what the American public wants this election is not about issues and honesty. That’s why McCain will win and when big.

This country is in the worst financial situation since the depression of the 1930’s (worst than even under Carter) and not once did the GOP mention the budget, deficit or national debt during the RNC

The GOP has been doling out corporate welfare for the last 8 yrs now and plan to continue to do so once elected. The wealth disparity is near what it was on the eve of the great depression.

Look at the news today about Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. And how does the Federal Reserve respond? By announcing plans to loosen its lending restrictions on the banking industry.!!!! Can you believe that they are going to give them more money to sqander. freaking incredible

To his credit Obama tried to talk the economy and the America people didn’t respond so now he’s attacking McCain.

bottom line, the election should be about where the candidates stand on the issuses now, yet the GOP can’t win on the issues, period.

Yet all they have to do is to tap into the latent “social” fears of the America people and they will win can you say “Willie Horton” or “liberal” LOL yep that’s all in takes.

So GOP would rather talk about experince than about the looming economic crisis, thats like two racers arguing about their engines rather than simply racing.

  3. Abu-Umasah al-Aswad,

Much as I don’t want McCain/Palin to be in the Whitehouse( and I’m praying that they don’t), I wouldn’t be suprised if they do win. My mom would often tell my siblings and I that an honest man cannot last in Whitehouse. After seeing some Congressional representives being blackballed for speaking out against the war on terrorism, I’m inclined to believe her.

It just get me when John keeps talking about his
so-called ” experience”, but when he keep discussing it, it always relate to the war. He never discuss about the economic aspects of it. I also believe that our country is screwed up because of this war. I just find it ironic how the US and many other countries are facing this same thing at the same time. I could be wrong, but I believe it plays a significant role in our ecomonic crisis.

John admitted that he didn’t know much on how to approach our economy.( Scary thought. Sarah just as clueless. Man, it’s bad to have two clueless people on the ticket). All he knows is the war, which is hurting us. I just find it funny when he mentions giving our economy a boost. What he fails to realize is that it cannot be fixed until he does something about this war. That is where the bulk of our money is going.

I just feel bad for anybody who have to deal with our government. This isn’t a recession, this IS almost the Great Depression! Maybe I’m younger than my elderly peers and I haven’t seen everything, but this is the worse that I’ve seen it.

I just feel bad for any Demo who have to deal with this mess. It would have to 15 or more years for our economy to get back in shape. I would say let the Republicans clean up their mess, but all they would do is to put is a worse whole than were already in. With John McCain’s dense brain, he’s going to have our economy sick to a new low.
