Too Tainted?

I was rooting for Jesse Jackson, Jr to get into the Senate, but now just being associated with this Blagojevich mess may have tainted him beyond repair. I hope that he is innocent (as he claims) and that he can clear his name and get into the Senate

I don’t know much about Jesse Jr but as a rule I’m against political dynasties. We have that problem out here were I live. Our congressman ,Hispanic Caucus leader Joe Baca, has been for years trying to get his two sons elected to some office or other. From school boards to California assembly seats to mayors of cities it’s disgusting to see the Baca family’s blantant lust for power .
I believe that politician’s children should do us and themselves a favor and stay out of politics.
Jesse Jr. should just say that he isn’t considering the seat at this point and just run for it’s re-election in 2010.
Might be best for him. Too much baggage attached to that seat this point for any politician to carry.
