It could be partially due to the rise in black immigrants and by defining “two parent families” as those living together. But welcome news nonetheless - I suppose. The main issue is the lack of Fatherhood in the black community. Plenty of “daddies” but not enough real fathers. There is no question that children in two parent households are better off
The number of black children being raised by two parents appears to be edging higher than at any time in a generation, at nearly 40 percent, according to newly released census data.
Demographers said such a trend might be partly attributable to the growing proportion of immigrants in the nation’s black population. It may have been driven, too, by the values of an emerging black middle class, a trend that could be jeopardized by the current economic meltdown.
The Census Bureau attributed an indeterminate amount of the increase to revised definitions adopted in 2007, which identify as parents any man and woman living together, whether or not they are married or the child’s biological parents.
According to the bureau’s estimates, the number of black children living with two parents was 59 percent in 1970, falling to 42 percent in 1980, 38 percent in 1990 and 35 percent in 2004. In 2007, the latest year for which data is available, it was 40 percent.

Why is it when the topic of lack of fathers in black children lives it is convenient never mentioned that these mothers CHOOSE men who more than likely wouldn’t be good fathers in the first place.
Alot of these mothers are portrayed as victims when in reality many are the victimizer. Because of their pis poor decision making abilities and/or lack of control of their emotions their children are saddled with problems and a bleak future which can easily been avoided had many mothers used a little common sense and had some sort of a moral foundation.

To answer your question, the media/academia–i.e., the propaganda branches of the corporate globalists– wish to villanize men. It is all part of the attack on the traditional (patriarchal) family (which itself is an indirect/diect attack against Islam). By producing “independent” women–that is, independent from their fathers and husbands, but dependent upon the state for protection–they are easier to target and victimize by the folks running the show. Afterall, women are more vulnerable, and as a rule, easier to manipulate than men.
These “independent” women go on to be promiscuous breeders of illegitimate kids. The kids are stuck off in govt. daycare–and further indoctrinated by the state/globalist apparatus. (Kinda like what was done by the communist states in their effort to remove the family’s (i.e., man’s) authority over the children). Anyway, these indoctrinated kids grow up with no notion of home training or moral sense (other than some of the trite globalist slogans of “tolerance,” “equality,” and “freedom”). People without morals are easier to control thru vices, and that is how the show is run. It’s all about control:
