OMG! Did some of those Republicans say that they do not want to accept the money based on “principles”? they shouldn’t have went there with that load of crap.
I’ll be honest. I also have some reservations about it, but not to the point where I wouldn’t do anything about it. There is no doubt there something has to be done with the economy and one of them is not just playing games( as they are doing) with the people. As many state representatives say, it’s not a cure all to the deeper issue, but a little bit will do until we can find a deeper solution to this problem.
It kills me. They are pissed with Obama’s stimulus plan , yet some of those same guys didn’t cry foul for: 1) The suffering of Hurricane Katrina victims 2) The loss of jobs/401K plans for employees during the Enron scandal 3) The Wall Street Hoodlums who help contribute to the screw-up of our economy. Now where were their “outrage” with these issues?
It’s sad. Some of those would rather let their people suffer than to contribute to the possible restructuring of our nation. They want to continue to make excuses about Obama just to find a fall guy to punch on. They’re always bring up the ” principles” part in their speeches. What kind of “principles” are those in not attempting to help the American people? God helped those who were in need, even to some of those who opposed his name. If God did it for those people, I cannot understand why they cannot help do it for us. Whether his plan pass or fail , it’s better to try it than to not try it nothing all ,especially in these hard times.
